This work was intended to talk about the human footprint, i.e. our impact on the planet. The footprint relief measured 8'x12', which is roughly the size of a car. The work suggests that because of our use and mastery over technology, we are giants. As giants, we have massive amounts of power to influence our surrounding. We are Bigfoot. We can use this power for positive activity, yet more often this power is used for selfish endeavors which ultimately compromise notions of diversity and a shared planet.
